On May 6 in Bethesda, Maryland, Susan Mundry, facilitator of the Northeast Educator Effectiveness Research Alliance (NEERA) at REL Northeast & Islands, and Carol Keirstead, the co-director of the Northeast Comprehensive Center (NCC), led a day-long educator effectiveness strand at the 2015 Leveraging Resources Conference. This is an annual event focused on “coordinating technical assistance across the Department of Education to improve the results for all children and families.” Representatives from technical assistance centers across the United States attended.

Mundry focused on NEERA’s collaborative work with New Hampshire to explore key questions the state is facing around educator evaluation.  Mundry also discussed a number of other resources, including “Practitioner Data Use in Schools,” a REL Northeast & Islands workshop toolkit published by IES in December.
