What Works Clearinghouse
The What Works Clearinghouse of the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences (WWC) collects, screens, and identifies studies of the effectiveness of educational interventions (programs, products, practices, and policies). WWC provides educators, policymakers, and researchers with resources to assist in identifying and implementing evidence-based programs.
Comprehensive Center Network
The Comprehensive Center Network (CC Network) comprises 23 centers that provide support to improve student outcomes. The 15 Regional Centers provide direct support to State Education Agencies and Local Education Agencies in designated geographic regions, while the eight Content Centers are devoted to developing research-based resources to inform improvements in policy practice. All of the resources developed by Centers are available free of charge to educators throughout the country. Together, the National Content Centers and Regional Centers form a powerful network of support available at no cost to State and Local Education Agencies.
